Abstract
The publication presents ten letters from the correspondence between Sergei Shirokogorov and Lev Shternberg. These valuable archival materials shed light not only on Shirokogorov’s biography but also on the lesser known pages of the history of anthropology of the early twentieth century. The publication is supplied with an introductory article and comments.
