Abstract
Latest research works in the area of anthropological reconstruction have made significant contributions to the method of craniofacial restoration. There was developed and introduced the unique program of the craniofacial correspondence, allowing transformations from dimensional and descriptive traits of a skull into the corresponding parameters of the face. On the basis of this program it is possible to obtain an individual lifetime face description. The program is based on classical anthropological methods and is equipped with additional technique opportunities for more thorough reconstruction. The article discusses particular approaches to deducing facial features from cranial characteristics by considering the gender and anthropological type of an individual.
