Abstract
The article contains a brief survey of historical-ethnographic and genetic-demographic data on the Bedouins of Southern Sinai. An analysis of the dental non-metric traits of the mentioned tribes is given. Using the methods of averaged taxonomic distance and multidimensional scaling the data are compared with those obtained from the study of various groups of southern Europeoids, as well as with those related to the eastern odontological stem and groups of mixed Europeoid-Mongoloid origins. Dental variants of Bedouin tribes of South Sinai are based on southern gracile dental type with combination of morphological gracility and eastern along with traces of equatorial (African) dental components.
