The Historical Metrology of the Chechen (Length, Distance, and Area Measures)

Abstract

The article contributes to the study of national metrology of the Chechen people, which has been closely related to the economic activity that has formed under different geographical conditions of the Caucasian region. The author examines the similarities and parallels between measurement systems among peoples of the Caucasus and those in Central Asia and Russia.
