Abstract

The hypothesis that technological development can get ahead of human adaptive capabilities suggests an urgent need for introduction of new technologies that accelerate development of new skills. In an environment where interaction is represented not only by people, but also by technological agents and various human-technological combinations, this problem is of particular research interest. The article explores eSports, which is currently an important part of the pervasive digitalization trend and focuses on the practice of developing skills in eSports, which involves formation of a “hybrid subject” including technological extensions. Based on empirical materials, it considers a case of a professional eSports and examples of platform solutions for training gamers.
