Abstract
The introductory article to the thematic issue of the journal “The Living and the Dead: Hybrid Realities” deals with the issues of the deepening integration of technics as a milieu of artificial or inorganic entities, on the one hand, and human bodies, on the other, exemplified by a host of old and emerging technical skills (somatotechniques). To capture the current intensification of this process, the concepts of techno-corporeality and technomorphisms are introduced.
