Ph.D. / Cand. Pol. Sc (2003, Moscow State Institute of International Relations), European University at St. Petersburg (2002). Since 2003 Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science, Tomsk State University; since 2012 director of PAST-Centre. Visiting scholar at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, Center for Political Studies, 2008–2009). Scholarly interests: comparative politics, political research on the Post-Soviet transition, science and technology studies, innovations in public services. Author of over 50 works including The Material Environment and the Reform Policy of the Urban Economy in Contemporary Russia (2010) and Health, Technologies, and Politics in Post-Soviet Settings: Navigating Uncertainties (2017, Springer). The author’s books were winners of the Russian Political Science Association competition in 2011 and 2007.
