Samuel Feijoo as a Scholar of Cuban Folklore

Abstract

The article discusses the works of Samuel Feijóo, a Cuban writer, painter and folklorist. Throughout his life he was actively engaged in gathering folklore texts, editing collections, and participating in publishing activities. His heritage greatly contributed to the study of Cuban culture.
