Abstract
This selection of critical comments is a continuation of the discussion which was originally published in the issue 6–2018 of Etnograficheskoe obozrenie and unfolded as a debate around arguments expounded in the article “Ethnological Expert Assessment”: A Russian Experience in Evaluating the Social Impact of Industrial Projects [“Etnologicheskaia ekspertiza”: rossiiskii opyt otsenki sotsial’nogo vozdeistviia promyshlennykh proektov] by D. A. Funk. The commenters continue to reflect on the definitions, types, practices, methods, and various facets of ethnological expert assessment in Russia.
