We are happy to announce the award of the 2018 special prize of the editorial board given to Magdalena Kozhevnikova.

The editorial board of the journal, with the support of the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology, Russian Academy of Sciences, has held a competition for a special prize given as a reward for the most innovative publication of 2018 in the journal. The winner of the competition, as chosen by the unanimous vote of the board members, is the article:

Editorial board members and the administration of the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology, Russian Academy of Sciences, are happy to award the special prize – a unique album with rare photographs from the archives of the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology (“Central Russia in Photographs by Z.Z.Vinogradov”) – to the author.
